Things continue to accelerate in the Conversational AI market.
Omilia is raising $67M in a Series B. This comes six years after its Series A in May 2020. During that period, its live ARR has grown more than 10x to over $60M, representing roughly 45% CAGR.
The long-standing player with deep roots in voice solutions has operated somewhat under the radar, despite being featured in the latest Forrester Wave, Gartner Magic Quadrant, and IDC MarketScape for Conversational AI.
Founded in 2002 as a Nuance value-added reseller, Omilia pivoted to a product business in 2008 and has since implemented several large-scale deployments at Capital One, Discover, RBC, Taco Bell, DWP, and PSEG.
The funding also comes with two notable hires: Nick Delis as Chief Revenue Officer and Ryan Kam as Chief Marketing Officer. That signals an ambition to step out of the shadows and compete more aggressively in a market that is heating up quickly.
